There are several things I said "no" to last week.
These things include (but are not limited to) podcast and interview summit requests, as well as a potential VIP client.
I said "no" to these things because they were not aligned with my highest path and my highest truth in this moment, and I could tell if I proceeded, tried to accommodate them or go against my gut instinct about fit, the struggle would far outweigh the satisfaction, impact and monetary gain.
I also know, based on many years of experience practicing this approach, that saying "no" allows me to recommit to what is most important, and creates a kind of magnetism toward the opportunities and experiences I am really craving.
If you are struggling to grow your sales- or if you've ever felt a struggle- I encourage you to look away from the numbers, away from your Quickbooks or graphs of your revenues, and look to your heart.
Are you consistently placing focus outside of your impact and joy?
Are you taking on projects because they look good on paper, even though they don't resonate from the deepest place in your soul?
Do you find yourself more often acting from a place of insecurity, worry, or not-enoughness, so much that you are deciding from that place, instead of a place of wholeness and peace that if not this opportunity, the next will come?
I've learned that money leaks- a lack of growth financially or otherwise- is really a symptom of an energy leak. A place where excitement and inspiration got left to the wayside for something other than your highest good.
It's okay to get distracted, understandable even. But to stay there, to continue saying "yes" to things that aren't aligned with your highest path creates unnecessary suffering, decreases sales, and most importantly is a waste of the deep, meaningful impact you are here to create.
So what will you say "no" to today, so you can say "yes" to all that you are here for?
